Face painters, Singapore

Face painting in Singapore

A face painter sets up a small table, the children pick a design, and a few minutes later each one walks away as a tiger, a butterfly or a superhero. For birthday parties, family days, school carnivals and community events anywhere in Singapore.

A face painter paints the children at your party or event one by one, in a few minutes each, with a design they choose from a picture menu. It is one of the easiest things to book for children: one table, one chair, no stage and no sound system, and every child takes the design home on their face. This is where you book face painting in Singapore for a birthday party, a company family day, a school carnival or a community event.

Price: face painting in Singapore usually costs SGD 250 to 450 for a 2 hour session with one painter, covering about 20 to 35 children, and SGD 600 to 850 for two painters over 2 to 3 hours. See how much face painting costs in Singapore.

FacePaintingSingapore.com books face painters and the acts that go with them: glitter tattoo artists, balloon artists and party clowns. One team in Singapore handles your enquiry from the first message to the last painted face. More about us.

How a face painting session works

The painter arrives 15 to 20 minutes before the start and sets up a folding table with paints, brushes, wipes and a design menu. Each child sits on a small chair, points at a design and is painted in a few minutes. A small cheek design is quick. A full face tiger or butterfly takes longer. Most sessions run 1.5 to 3 hours, and the painter packs up and leaves the area as they found it.

Choose the occasion

Kids birthday parties. One painter for a party of up to 20 or 30 children, in a condo function room, at home or at a void deck. See face painters for kids parties.

Corporate family days and carnivals. Two or more painters, often under a tent, next to balloon and game stations. See face painting for family days and carnivals.

School and community events. Carnivals, fun fairs and community centre days with a long queue of children. See face painting for school and community events.

Add a second station

Face painting and balloon twisting are the most common pair at Singapore kids parties, because two stations keep two queues moving. Older children who feel face paint is for little ones often prefer a glitter tattoo on the arm. You can also book a balloon artist, a party clown or a full kids party package.

How many painters you need

This decides whether the party works. One painter does about 12 to 15 detailed faces an hour, or 20 to 25 simple ones. Under 20 children, one painter for 1.5 to 2 hours is enough. For 20 to 40 children, book one painter for 2.5 to 3 hours or two painters for 1.5 hours. From 40 to 80 children you need at least two painters, and past 80 you need three or more. Toddlers take longer per face than older children, so tell us the ages too.
