Questions people ask
Who runs this website?
FacePaintingSingapore.com is a booking service for face painters and children's entertainers, based in Singapore. Every enquiry and booking made here is handled by our team in Singapore.
How much does face painting cost in Singapore?
Usually SGD 250 to 450 for a 2 hour session with one painter, for about 20 to 35 children, and SGD 600 to 850 for two painters over 2 to 3 hours. Extra hours are usually SGD 100 to 150 per painter.
How many children can one painter do?
About 12 to 15 an hour with detailed designs, or 20 to 25 an hour with simple ones. For more than 40 children, book two painters.
Which designs can the children choose?
Superheroes, fairies, unicorns, animals such as tigers, cats and butterflies, cartoon characters, sports designs and festive designs for Chinese New Year, Halloween and Christmas. The painter brings a picture menu.
Is the face paint safe?
Professional face paint is cosmetic grade and made for skin. Tell us about allergies or sensitive skin when you book, and the painter can do a patch test or skip an area.
What do you need at the venue?
A small table, a chair for the child, good light and a flat spot in the shade. No power is needed.
Can I book glitter tattoos, a balloon artist or a clown too?
Yes. Glitter tattoos, balloon artists and party clowns can be booked on their own or together with face painting in one package.
Can I see the performers before I book?
Yes. After your brief you get a shortlist with photos, videos and profiles of performers who are free, and you choose.
How early should I book?
Two to four weeks ahead for a normal weekend, and four to six weeks ahead for the June, November and December school holidays and Chinese New Year. Full party packages for peak weekends are best booked 6 to 10 weeks ahead.
Do you sell face paint kits or run face painting classes?
No. This site books face painters and children's entertainers for events in Singapore only.
